āļøāš„ What to Do When Every Channel Feels Broken
Your channels arenāt broken; your playbook is.
Andrew Chen says every channel sucks.
Heās not wrong, but that advice isnāt helpful.
The real problem isn't dead channels. It's dead strategies.
Here's what's working in 2025.
(This is inspired by a teardown from the MKT1 crew on Andrewās post).
š Letās get into it.
š āSaturatedā does not mean dead
Just because something is ācrowdedā doesnāt mean the party is over.
An old playbook may not work anymore, but the channel can still be viable.
Ieā¦
SEO is still useful: if you focus on very high-intent content
Cold Email still converts: if you enrich your lead lists intelligently
Ads can still scale: if your creative is a true pattern interrupt
Influencers still work: if you operationalize it, not just throw cash at creators
Social still matters: if you build around people, not faceless brand accounts
Lazy, copy-paste tactics stopped working, but the channels didnāt die.
š± āLittle channelsā arenāt so little anymore
If youāve heard ājust do communityā and rolled your eyes, I get it. But the worldās changed.
Channels once dismissed as niche or unscalable are now serious contenders. Better tooling has made managing communities, partnerships, and even intimate events more feasible and impactful.
People crave authenticity, and these smaller, more human-centered approaches can deliver outsized results.
The ālittle channelsā of today are becoming the "big channels of tomorrow," as MKT1 puts it.
šØ AI flattened everything. Thatās your opportunity.
Everyone has access to the same automation stack. The same enrichment data. The same genAI blog post generators.
Which means: baseline content is easier to create.
The problem is that itās also easier to ignore.
So, what stands out now?
Weird, specific takes
Sharp frameworks, not vague recommendations
Human storytelling with teeth
TL;DR: You canāt automate insight.
š¤ The best-performing channel in 2025? Trust.
If you take one thing from this: Stop thinking in āchannels,ā start thinking in humans.
The best growth loops today are built on trust.
Creators and customers who vouch for you
Communities that mention your product organically
Referrals from partners with complementary services
When everything else can be faked or automated, the human element becomes your most valuable asset.
TL;DR: What actually works in 2025?
Build trust. Equip others to talk about you.
Stop blaming the channels. Build a better playbook.
šļø āHow I write LinkedIn Posts that get 100,000+ viewsā
In this creator deep-dive, content strategist Pierre Herubel shares the real reason most LinkedIn posts flop, and the 5-step process he uses to consistently hit 100k+ views (and sometimes 5M+).
In this episode, youāll learn:
š§ Why Most Posts Fail: Boring insight, generic hook, hard-to-read format, and zero originality = forgettable.
šµļøāāļø Find the Right Insight: Talk to clients, build in public, mine your past. No fresh insight = no traction.
šÆ One Post = One Idea: Narrow your focus. Journalists do it. So should you.
